Stephen Flack. (1850-1902)
Stephen Flack aged about 48 years, died at his home near Bridge Valley, on
Friday evening, after being ill for about three weeks.
The deceased was a son of William Flack, now of Doylestown. He was born in
Warwick township, and lived there all his life, engaged in the meat business
and farming. For a term of three years he served as supervisor.
He was twice married. His first wife was formerly a Miss Ewer, who died leaving
three sons. His last wife was Miss Anna DeCoursey, daughter of Nelson DeCoursey,
by whom he had two children, a son and a daughter. He is survived by his wife,
one brother, Newton Flack, of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Rienzi Worthington
and Miss Jennie Flack of Doylestown, and the following children Marry (should
say Harry!) Flack of Johnsville; Spencer Flack, of Jamison; Robert Flack of
Horsham, and Nelson and Olive who live at home.
He was a member of two secret societies - the Golden Eagles and the Odd
Fellows of Jamison.
